Egypt

Egypt is located in the northeast of Africa. It borders on the Red Sea and Israel in the east, on the Mediterranean Sea in the north, on Libya in the west and on the Sudan in the south.

Hurghada

Hurghada is the leading resort on the Red Sea with many hotels and holiday villages. It stretches for about 40 km along the seashore. Hurghada is a destination for package holiday tourists from Europe. It's a popular place to escape from European winter. There is wind throughout the year, the wind force and direction can vary during the day. Summer and beginning of autumn are the best time to go, since more high wind days can be expected due to stronger high pressure.

Dahab

Dahab is a small bedouin village at the Gulf of Aqaba (90 km north of Sharm-El-Sheikh). Dahab means gold in Arabic, and it is a real treasure for windsurfers! The temperature differences in the desert ensures thermal reinforcement of the wind in summer, making Dahab the windiest spot close to Europe. Only 3-4 hour flight - and you'll find the magnificant windsurfing spot with 3 surf areas with different conditions, good wind and warm water.
