Sunset Beach is located on the north shore of Oahu island. It is famous for big wave surfing during the winter season. Sunset Beach is home to the Duke Kahanamoku Classic surfing competition and the O'Neill World Cup of Surfing.

Waimea Bay
Waimea Bay is situated on the north shore of Oahu, at the mouth of the Waimea River. In winter, you will find here large waves, created by winter storms. In summer, Waimea Bay typically has clear and calm water.
