The Bay of Roses is a huge sand-bottomed bay. Two winds, the Garbi in summer and the Tramontana in spring and autumn, dominate in the region of the Bay of Roses, and make this spot popular among kitesurfers, freeriders and wave enthusiasts.

After a day of riding it is a pleasure to spend an evening in one of the small picturesque towns, sitting in a cosy cafeor enjoying seafood in one of Catalan restaurants.

Fantastic kiting! Went to Empuriabrava, in the Bay of Roses kiting last year, had a fantastic time great wind and wide sandy beaches. Really friendly kite scene!
