Alacati, Turkey

Alacati (pronounced Alachati) is located on the Cesme peninsula, opposite the Greek island of Chios. Alacati features reliables wind and a very safe, nearly 500 m long and 400 m wide shallow section with completely flat water. The spot is perferct for beginners and intermediates. Experts also come to Alacati to improve technique and for slalom blasting.

Meltelmi wind blows sideshore from the left. Summer is the the best time for windsurfing and kitesurfing in Alacati because of the strongest and more reliable wind due to the local thermal effect.
